One-Year-Traineeship with European Dignity Watch!
The European Dignity Watch (EDW) traineeship is an exciting
opportunity to do fascinating work for one year in Brussels, the
capital of Europe. EDW works with partners at all levels of
influence in the European Union. The traineeship gives a dynamic
person who is passionate about the ideals of a free and just
society, and the protection of life and the family, the possibility
of real work and responsibility from day one.
Our trainee will have an intensive experience networking with a
wide-range of stakeholders and working to influence European
policy-making. Besides advocacy work, the trainee will edit texts
for our website and newsletter, support the organisation of the
office in Brussels, and work with a committed, young, dynamic and
international team. The trainee will support our work in order to
maintain our network and meet the growing demands for information
and advocacy.
Who are we looking for?
From the beginning, our trainee will analyze and understand complex
texts, network and work with EU institutions. We are therefore
looking for a candidate with the following characteristics and
skills:
* Excellent verbal and written command of English and one other
European language
* Good knowledge of the European Institutions, of the key concepts
of EDW and its current political challenges
* Being passionate about the ideals of a free and just society and
the protection of life and the family
* Being proactive, efficient, motivated and flexible as well as
being a team-player
* Strong analytical and organizational skills and practical
approach to problem solving
Information
The traineeship starts in September and last 11 months. Trainees
receive adequate remuneration.
